IIT Kanpur boasts of a lush green Hockey Ground with flood lights. The facility serves as a training ground for the Institute hockey team and a hub for hockey enthusiasts. Institute provides hockey sticks, shinpads and balls to the interested students. Necessary equipment can be issued from the Physical Education section.
