Enjoy showing that you know eclectic trivia about everyday objects? Love going through Wiki links when bored? Get a high out of obscure knowledge and solving puzzles? Well then, have you considered being a quizzer?
We at the Quiz Club welcome all those with the pathological problem of knowing a lot of stuff and others too. The club aims to introduce the campus community to the joys of quizzing, question framing and if you’ve never answered questions that don’t pertain to academics, don’t worry, we’re here to teach you how to quiz and how to make a quiz too!
The Club has introduced many new quizzes for the campus community in order to enhance its reach and participation. These include quizzes on pop-culture such as the Breaking Bad Quiz and the Game of Thrones Quiz. This year, we collaborated with the Anime Society for developing a Pokemon-themed quiz, as well as with the English Literary Society to conduct a LIT Quiz; both of which witnessed good participation from the junta.
We hold quizzes specifically for the freshers, but we also conduct open quizzes, in which anyone from the campus community can join in. Best of all? Keep doing well, and you can brag about it to anyone you meet once you get on our leaderboard for the year. Our teams also take part in popular quizzes that are conducted outside the campus and return with flying colours.
At the Quiz Club, we believe that the onus of quizzers isn’t to win but to learn, and we hope you join us while on your journey through college. And don't forget, "Quizzing is the second easiest way of earning money in the campus".
