Cricket is a passion in India and we, as a team represent the passion of IIT Kanpur towards this legendary game. Cricket is in our hearts and our souls. The IITK cricket team sincerely believes in qualities such as true sporting spirit and team effort. Each and every member of the team is a reflection of these values. The team comprises of a blend of cricket enthusiasts instilled with inborn talents and all these players gel together to form this fantastic unit.
We have a well-devoted ground especially for cricket with the facilities of flood lights and nets. There are two cricket grounds, one is the Main Ground near the Academic Area and the other one is the ACES ground near the main IIT Gate. The pitch is regularly maintained by experienced people. These facilities are mostly for institute team players.
