Hi Vedant,

I feel that the idea of Pre-Term Report is very innovative and a much needed concept to be introduced by Gymkhana.
I really appreciate the effort that the new Gymkhana Team has put to make these reports keeping the broad timeline of
the activities at IITK in mind. A small suggestion by me would be to put the expected events/competitions organised 
by various Clubs/Hobby-Groups/Teams into a consolidated Google Calendar maintained by Gymkhana well before the
start of new academic year and then we can add the calendar of different clubs in which we are interested in to our own
Google Calendar. That would help us a lot to plan beforehand and get notified before any event in which we are interested
to participate, well before the event. That would also reduce the individual emails of different clubs that we get throughout 
the semester and the organizing team can also get an idea of the expected turnout for every event to be organized.

    Starting this year, the Executives of the Gymkhana shall be presenting a Pre-Term Report also, along with the usual Mid-Term and End-Term Reports. The idea is to tell the student community all that they plan to do in their tenure, beforehand. This shall give both the executives and the General Body a perspective on how to go about things.

    Being the maiden year, the Senate has decided not to mandate these reports and keep them open to change. Hence, the reports were not taken up by the Senate in its meetings. It decided however, to take up any major comments that the reports might receive from the General Body.
