Proposal to create an ARC implementation review committee

Dear Vedant,

As you may be aware, the first UG batch on which the new ARC programme was
applicable, Y11, is on the verge of graduating from the Institute. I think
this is the best moment, both for the Institute and for the Students'
Senate to take a fresh look at the implementation of the ARC
recommendations, in terms of their impact, usefulness and virulence. I
propose that a small committee be constituted by the Senate to perform
this review on its behalf, preferably on the Senate list so that they may
present its report by the final Senate meeting of this year.

I would personally recommend the following constitution for the committee:

1. An SUGC member of the current tenure (specifically Praveen Honhar)
2. Either President or Chairperson of the previous (2015-16) Gymkhana Year
3. One junior UG Senator (ie, Y13, Y14 or Y15 - the lower, the better)
4. Myself

The committee could also be directed to conduct a survey on the
implementation of the programme.

I request that my proposal to forwarded to the Senate list so that a
decision may be taken by the Senate regarding this.
